Martha Johns Andrea Pizzo definitely steals the show with her powerful singing, but the Purple Mice band creates the perfect cozy background for it.

Ada 04:18
(I) sang the music of analythical machine She's like fairies who can change their shape Imagination can go further Exploring the unseen all around us I know I failed some times, Hunting the mathematic models That hold up the world But I'm sure it's worth it That brain of mine is something more than merely mortal If you can give me poetry, give me logic Imagination, mathematic are the language Of unseen relation between things Not even brilliant minds are always right I gambled with life, bet on horse racing I rode my horse so fast Exploring the unseen around us I saw a simple punchcard Directing frame design I imagined the analythical machine faster than any human thought That brain of mine is something more than merely mortal If you can give me poetry, give me logic Imagination, mathematics are the language Of unseen relation between things That brain of mine is something more than merely mortal If you can give me poetry, give me logic Imagination, mathematics are the language Of unseen relation between things

A brigade of brilliant minds With new inventions ready to try Plenty of faith in life, ideas, They will fly so high They could even change the future, They could even change the world, Smartest minds we wish to see them, To follow theirs hopes and lead, Let them speak 'bout life! Let us listen to their voice! Why do we live for, what do we dream of? Life too short to pass in vain Western coast of USA Where the sun goes down each day Since the middle of the twentieth century You (could) find a lot of men Working hard to build their dreams In their backyard, in their garage Smartest minds we wish to see them, To follow theirs hopes and lead, Let the mind go through New strange seas of thought If sometimes you feel trappped in a big cage The only way to get out of jail creating a new path I'd rather regret my mistakes Instead of regretting not having tried No matter how the hard way costs to me It's worth trying to walk it before dying Let the mind go through New strange seas of thought If sometimes you feel trappped in a big cage The only way to get out of jail (Is by) creating a new path Let the mind go through New strange seas of thought If sometimes you feel trappped in a big cage The only way to get out of jail (Is by) creating a new path The only way to get out of jail (Is by) creating a new path The only way to get out of jail (Is by) creating a new path The only way to get out of jail (Is by) creating a new path

about

Andrea Pizzo and The Purple Mice are out with a new double single titled Ada available on all digital platforms from the 26th of October 2022. The songs come after the success of the album Potatoes on Mars released last January.

Together with Ada we can listen to the song The boys from Silicon Valley, as the B side of an old single. The concept behind the publications of Andrea Pizzo's group, as always, is science and everything related to that.

The lyrics of both songs are written by Raffaella Turbino while the music is by Andrea Pizzo, Riccardo Morello and Roberto Tiranti.

We made this double single with the song that will open our second album: it's about Ada, - explains the frontman of The Purple Mice - an indie-pop song dedicated to Ada Byron, countess of Lovelace, mathematician and scholar, considered the first programmer in history: a figure who has had a great impact in the history of science, but who is little known, like many others to whom we have dedicated some songs from this new concept album, about the fate of Mankind ».

Silvia Criscenzo, fantastic singer and musician and dear friend of the group, sings in Ada with Andrea.
